The three commando soldiers were hospitalized in the Surgical Unit. The IDF Chief-of-Staff wished the soldiers a speedy recovery and praised their actions. He told them that having been wounded in the Yom Kippur War, and hospitalized at Rambam, he knows they are in good hands. Lying hospitalized in a parallel surgical unit at RHCC are six of the foreign activists that were on the boat. The six injured arrived at Rambam and are described as being in critical condition. Some of the injured arrived with bullet wounds and underwent life- saving surgical procedures performed by the Trauma team. Click here for video footage. |

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Rambam is a place of extraordinary skill and compassion. More than 400 premture and newborn infants are treated each year, including infants weighing less than 750 grams. Our Goal this Rosh Hashanah is to raise $550,000 = 5 infant care stations for the NICU Your support will enable equipment that is vitally needed to be purchased. The cost of a small baby's survival is priceless! |
