It takes a village... Unprecedented Israeli-Palestinian cooperation led by dedicated volunteers offers a little girl from Jenin a better life. For the past 5 months, 2 year-old Aya Aiid Abo-Mois has been coming to Rambam for dialysis. Her daily morning journey begins from a village outside of Jenin that is under the jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority. The journey into Israel is not simple. Every morning, Aya and her mother wait for a driver of the "Derech Hachlama" (Way to Recovery) volunteer-run organization from Israel, which operates transportation services for Palestinian patients from their homes to hospitals in Israel. |

 TUESDAY, AUGUST 3, 2010 - Wounded Israeli soldier Captain Ezra Lakia was evacuated by helicopter to Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa after sustaining severe injuries by a sniper from the Lebanese Armed Forces. |

Blood Drive and BBQ a Raging Success! |

On July 21st, Canadian Friends of Rambam Hospital (CFRAM) teamed up with Hillel of Greater Toronto to organize a blood drive. Jewish students and young professionals from across the Greater Toronto Area rolled up their sleeves; Canadian Blood Services reports that up to 54 patients will receive life-saving blood due to our efforts. |
