The Canadian Friends of Rambam Health Care Campus

Is a not-for-profit organization created to co-ordinate the Canadian effort to spread awareness and support of Israel’s Rambam Hospital. It is governed by a national board that is made up of outstanding leaders who are volunteers that care deeply for Israel and the well being of its people.

Blood Drive and BBQ a Raging Success!
BBQ and Blood Drive

 

On July 21st, Canadian Friends of Rambam Hospital (CFRAM) teamed up with Hillel of Greater Toronto to organize a blood drive. Jewish students and young professionals from across the Greater Toronto Area rolled up their sleeves; Canadian Blood Services reports that up to 54 patients will receive life-saving blood due to our efforts.

Rambam Provides Assistance in the Wake of the Flotilla

IDF Chief-of-Staff Lt.-Gen. Gaby Ashkenazi visited three IDF soldiers at Rambam Hospital that were wounded during the raid on the flotilla en route to Gaza.  The three commando soldiers were hospitalized in the Surgical Unit. The IDF Chief-of-Staff wished the soldiers a speedy recovery and praised their actions.  He told them that having been wounded in the Yom Kippur War, and hospitalized at Rambam, he knows they are in good hands.
